For this new construction ICF home on Kaw Lake, the homeowner had the land, had the plans, but had not yet broken ground. Being brought in early allowed our design team to make changes to the plans throughout the house, including in this Laundry Room. Our design included the soft and pale blue cabinetry with Shaker doors throughout the space. Nine foot tall pantry cabinets line the entry to the laundry for maximum storage. For improved functionality, we placed the sink near the laundry machines and added a pull-out drying rack. In the event of a water leak, we specified remotely located water shut off valves so the owners would not have to get behind the washer should something happen.
