While building their new dream home in the Stonemill neighborhood in Eastern OKC, our clients brought us in to design and build an independent living area for their adult daughter that uses a wheelchair.  Working with her, she wanted a contemporary space with color and a touch of rustic, that functioned as a multi-use center.  With that instruction, we created this custom recreation, entertainment, game and craft center for full access with her wheelchair.  The custom cabinetry incorporated a pull-out table that she can use, then it folds completely away when not needed. Other features we designed include the laundry center, then in the adjacent room a full function kitchen – both with her accessibility in mind.
